A video that has gone viral on Twitter shows the former dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro, giving the current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, a hug at Justin’s “real” father’s funeral. Justin’s “real” father is the former prime minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau, who along with his ex-wife Margaret Trudeau had an extremely close relationship with Fidel Castro.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Pierre Trudeau had a strong friendship with Fidel Castro, and the two had remained friends. Pierre and Margaret were also photographed with Castro in 1976, according to historical records. Some academics even believe that the Trudeaus met with Castro in secret throughout the 1970s. Nevertheless, a fact-checker has disproved this idea, but those same fact-checkers have been proven incorrect in the past as well. Justin Trudeau was born on December 25, 1971, which means that if Fidel Castro is Trudeau’s father, Margaret would have had to meet him before 1976 if Trudeau is his son. Read more
