President Trump Sounds Off on Biden’s Handling of the Ukraine-Russia Conflict

President Donald Trump, appearing to speak to a group of RNC donors at a retreat in New Orleans, had some harsh words about both NATO and Biden’s handling of Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine.

According to CBS, which reported on his remarks, Trump first hit NATO, an alliance that he called a “paper tiger.” Given that few countries spend the amount they’re supposed to, he has a point.

He continued his attack on the weakness of NATO’s European members, saying:

Are all of these nations going to stand by and watch perhaps millions of people be slaughtered as the onslaught continues? At what point do countries say, ‘No, we can’t take this massive crime against humanity?’ We can’t let it happen. We can’t let it continue to happen.”

He then made a pretty funny, if macabre, joke, saying that the US should use its stealth fighters like the F-22 to bomb the Russians and then blame the Chinese. As CBS reports on the comment:

Trump joked about the conflict, too, though, telling donors that the U.S. should put the “put the Chinese flag” on F-22 fighter jets and “bomb the s***” out of Russia.

“And then we say, China did it,” he said, to laughter in the room, according to the source. “Then they start fighting with each other, and we sit back and watch.”

Whatever the media says about that comment, at least Trump, unlike the Uniparty, gets that Russia and China should be driven apart, not into each other’s arms.

Trump then attacked how Biden has handled the situation, saying:

We have to have Biden stop saying that — and this is for everyone to hear — that we will not attack Russia ever because they are a nuclear power, right? You know who is saying this? Okay, whether it’s fact or fiction, ‘We will not attack Russia. You see, they are a nuclear power.’ Oh, thanks for telling us.”

Trump didn’t only attack Biden and NATO in his speech, he also reportedly dropped a major hint that he might run in 2024, supposedly saying:

We will see a Republican president reclaim that magnificent White House in 2024. I wonder who that might be.”

He also, in a comment that will surely be misinterpreted and used to savage him, said “The vote counter is oftentimes more important than the candidate and the Republicans are going to have to get a lot tougher.Read more
