Video: Russian Pilot Who Works For Pobeda Tells His Passengers That The War In Ukraine ‘Is A Crime’

As Vladimir Putin’s army continues its invasion of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy compared Russian troops to ‘ISIS terrorists’ while expressing his fury over the reported kidnapping of the Melitopol mayor Ivan Federov.

In his address, Zelenskyy said: “Obviously, this is a sign of the weakness of the invaders. They did not find collaborators who would hand over the city and the power to the invaders. Therefore, they have switched to a new stage of terror when they are trying to physically eliminate representatives of the legitimate local Ukrainian authorities. The whole country saw that Melitopol did not surrender to the invaders, and this will not be changed by putting pressure on mayors or kidnapping mayors.”

Zelenskyy goes on to say that ‘this can only get worse for the invaders’, adding: “The actions of Russian invaders will be equated with the actions of ISIS terrorists.”

Meanwhile, during a flight, a Russian pilot denounced his country’s war on Ukraine, telling passengers he believes sensible citizens will do everything to put an end to violence. The pilot demanded that the war between Russia and Ukraine be ended immediately.

The pilot works with Pobeda, a subsidiary of Russia’s flag carrier Aeroflot, said Ukrainian diplomat Olexander Scherba.

When he arrived in Antalya, Turkey, he delivered his message to travelers.

“Ladies and gentlemen, here is your captain speaking. Welcome to Antalya. Thank you for flying with “Pobeda”. Also, from me personally: the war with Ukraine is a crime” he said. “I think sensible citizens will agree with me and will do everything to make it stop.” There was a little applause here and there.
