It’s no secret that Brandon’s presidency hasn’t been going well. He isn’t well-liked, hasn’t done a particularly good job at anything, and the world seems to be falling apart around him. Inflation has been hitting highs not seen in decades, illegal immigrants have been flooding across the border in massive numbers, and the economy seems to be teetering on the edge of disaster.
But, with the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, Biden might have thought he had a glimmer of hope. That’s because his ratings on his response to the Russo-Ukraine War were far, far higher than most of his other ratings, as reported by the New York Post.
According to that outlet, a massive 81% of Americans approve of the crushing sanctions regime imposed on the Russians by Team Biden and a whopping 78% of Americans approve of the oil embargo.
So, though public opinion of his response to the situation in toto are still about half and half, certain aspects of his policy are massively popular.
In other words, whereas most of what he’s done so far, particularly on the inflation issue, an issue on which 70% of Americans disagree with Biden’s response has been met with disapproval from Americans, his Ukraine invasion response was at least somewhat popular.
As such, he might of expected a bump in his poll numbers that would help Democrats heading into the midterms. Well, if he was counting on it, then a recent poll holds some devastating news for him: that’s simply not the case.
According to a recent Civiqs poll, Biden’s job approval is as low as ever, with only a minuscule 36% of Americans approving of his inflation response. Read more
