Red Flag Law Turns Deadly: Maryland Officer Kills Man Refusing To Give Up Gun

An officer who was attempting to implement the new red flag’ rule in Maryland shot and killed a 61-year-old man in Ferndale on Monday morning. The officer fired at the guy.

At around 5:17 in the morning, Anne Arundel County Police verified that a shooting involving police officers had happened in the 100 block of Linwood Avenue.

According to the police, two officers who were serving a new Extreme Risk Protective Order (Red Flag Law), a protective order in Maryland that requires the removal of firearms from a residence, shot and killed the individual who was listed on the order. Read more
