The Biden administration has just approved a Trump-era project to finish a section of the infamous southern border wall located in the state of California.

Gee, I bet liberals all over the place are ticked off about this course of action. Who would’ve thought that Biden would actually take up a Trump project and complete it? Highly unusual for this administration to do something like that, what with crafting narrative after narrative painting Trump up as the second coming of Adolf Hitler and all.

According to Newsmax, advocates from Friends of Friendship Park recently spoke with KPBS saying that U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officials stated that the primary and secondary border fences along the park are set to be replaced with 30-foot walls.

“The park, a binational spot between San Diego and Tijuana, represents the western-most point of the U.S. along the border with Mexico. It has been the only place along the southern border where people in the U.S. could see and even touch relatives in Mexico,” the Newsmax report stated.

“Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas approved the designs, which were initially authorized by the Trump administration in the budget for Fiscal Year 2018, the Daily Mail reported,” Newsmax reported.

CBP sent an email to KPBS which confirmed the plans to erect new fencing in the area surrounding Friendship Park, going on to say that the current fencing in place is no longer structurally sound. Read more
