As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy their private life touring the Los Angeles chat show circuit and attending celebrity events, it has been revealed that Meghan now has her eyes on a new career.

In 2019, journalist Dan Wootton claimed a Palace insider had told him that royal aides suspected Meghan had used the Royal Family as a “steppingstone” to launch her own career. While you’d be forgiven for thinking the Hollywood starlet would probably want to land a big acting role, it seems Meghan has her sights set even higher than the silver screen.

The source told MailOnline that they were “now convinced there is something bigger going on here – an eventual plan that involves running for office in America”.

“She’s obsessed with US politics.,” the source added, according to Wootton.

“I think we’re (the Royal Family) now just a steppingstone to something she considers far more important and attractive.”

Throughout their marriage, the Sussexes have dabbled in politics, and have in the past been criticized for breaking the politically neutral Royal protocol.

Instead of accepting the democratic right for the US to exercise the laws of its land, the pair have acted more like a couple of woke celebrities, sticking their noses into every popular woke cause of the day.
