Fox News reported: “Federal law bars the removal of classified documents to unauthorized locations, though it is possible that Trump could try to argue that, as president, he was the ultimate declassification authority.
A source familiar told Fox News that FBI agents went to Mar-a-Lago and looked in every single office, safe, and grabbed documents and boxes without going through them on the property. They took boxes and documents to go through them later.
“They were not being judicious about what they took,” the source told Fox News. “

On Monday, the former president claimed that a “big number” of FBI investigators are “under siege” at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida.
“A President of the United States has never experienced anything like this before. This unexpected raid on my residence was neither required or acceptable after working and collaborating with the proper Government agencies. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the legal system, and an assault by radical left democrats who vehemently oppose my running for president in 2024, especially in light of recent polls, and who will stop at nothing to defeat conservatives and Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections.”
Fox News Digital contacted the FBI for comment, but they did not respond right away.
