Beaumont City Councilman Mike Getz wrote on Facebook that “a youngster was savagely attacked in one of the boy’s restrooms while other students watched.”
Councilman Mike Getz reported that he was requested to represent Beaumont ISD. Getz viewed a video the morning after the first night of ambassador training, which has now gone viral on social media.
According to the footage that 12News has viewed, the boy’s restroom is where it was apparently recorded. A teenage kid is seen kicking another boy in the face after punching him at least 14 times in the head and face while he is on the ground.
If the roles were reversed, this would be on every major news outlet as a hate crime.
